Hi there. . . I'm new here and I came to try and get some information and help for my mother-in-law. She just started dialysis before Christmas. She's diabetic and is 69 years old. She's also having problems with COPD so  her health is pretty concerning right now.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris, I'm so glad you found our site.  It is so hard to watch someone you love suffer.  I hope you MIL finds some peace in her choices.  This is the right place to come for answers as well as a break from the disease.  There is the Off-Topic section that lets you get on another topic besides "dialysis."  Hope to see you post soon.

Welcome to our community, Christine!  This is just the place to be to get some answers and lots of support.  We have developed into a caring family here.  Just read the posts that will be most helpful in your case.  But don't just read, we also need to hear from you to hear how you MIL is doing.  I really appreciate it when family members show their love and concern in this way.
