Rose, your dad has such a great sense of humor to allow that hat on his head!!
He is so lucky to have you, as you are to have him!!!

Aw thanks everyone for the nice comments, I'll tell Dad you all think he's great.
He has a tough time with his kidney failure, PAD, aneurysm etc but he still has his scouse sense of humour (Ken will know what I mean but for those of you who are not in the UK, he is a scouser which means born in Liverpool and they have a reputation for their humour - amongst other things!) and although he moved to Shropshire when he was young, he still has the accent and is always the one to make a joke and have a laugh. These days he finds it harder and often has a little weep too, but he does his best bless him. I'm his only daughter and (of course) he's my only Dad so we are very close as you can tell.
By the way, no boas were harmed in the making of the hat, it is pinned on so can be removed and worn on other occasions - the UK hasn't seen the end of me in that boa, I am so proud to wear it.

Thanks Petey, yes he is special! He's wearing the hat to dialysis today so I will recover my boa tomorrow and continue to wear it whenever I can. Thank you & Marvin so much for sending them to us, they've provided a lot of fun and hopefully got a serious message out too. And all the time I like to think Susie is smiling with us all
