:yahoo; My caregiver and I graduated CAPD training today, Will start CCPD training next Monday. Question for those who are using PD, I have noticed a sweet flavor every once and awhile like my saliva glands have kicked over and I get a sweet taste in my mouth, does this happen to anyone else? Thanks

Firstly well done ..secondly YES that sweet taste in your mouth is the PD fluid (glucose) you will find it comes and goes. I used to get it all the time , now i hardly ever get it ..so dont worry !!!

Great job on completing your PD training.  I wish you the best on CCPD.  As for your question about the sweat taste, I don't recall ever having this problem.  I've been on CAPD for 5 months.  Good Luck!

:clap; Well done Oleboy. Hope you do well on the cycler. I'm sure you will, it's so easy to use. If you have any questions don't forget to post them . There are many of us who do CCPD myself included. I think between all of us we could give you any info you require.

Congrats, Oleboy! You'll love the cycler...you have your days free, and you sleep through treatment - what more could a dialysis patient want? Come here if you have any questions, that's what we're here for!
