I saw it for the first time last night.  A good movie, but too much in it that hurt me.  I want to forget that period in history.  Now to find out that the word "lynch" came from a slave owner [William Lynch] from the Caribbean who was brought over to teach the slaves a lesson.  So glad I was born in the mid 20th century!!
