Thought I'd share some pics from the blizzard we had yesterday and last night. School was closed all day yesterday and again today. it is sunny today but the roads aren't cleared for the buses. The first pic wa taken yesterday during the storm.

Many times yesterday couldn't see the house across the street from us ( the house in the pictures). Somewhere underneath all that snow is my shrubs and flower beds!!!

Better you than me Del on getting that snowstorm. We have not had an accumulation of you know that four letter word that starts with S, for about 5 days. I'm happy crazy about that. Word is tomorrow we will get 40 degree weather (you must remember those balmy days of 40 degrees) and hopefully melt off a bunch of this white stuff. Looking forward to the sap running. (Maple sugar time is overdue!!!) Thanks for posting pics Sandyb

Karol, we use to do that, my Grandma would get so mad at my girlfriend and I. It would have to rain pretty good to get it out of the trees. Then as punishment we would have to go around the yard and pick the stuff up. We were bored kids.

okarol -- that picture brought back some fun memories for me. As teenagers, my friends and I "tee-peed" (toilet papered) many, many yards -- other kids we didn't like, teachers, the preacher one time -- what fun we had! We also stole "For Sale" signs out of yards and put them in other random yards (imagine waking up one morning to find your house is for sale and you didn't know anything about it)! We were bad kids, but we had a good time! I imagine there were worse things we could have done. We were never mean -- just mischevious. Every once in a while now, I get the urge to tee-pee another yard, but Marvin won't let me!

No snow for us,but tornadoes every where in north Ga. Another hit downtown Atlanta just a few minutes ago. 2 deaths now from all the storms.

We used to do that to a girl we didn't like much. We were kinda mean. Good for Marvin for keeping you in line. We all need someone like that in our lives.

We very, very rarely get tornadoes here. I've only heard of a couple and they haven't caused a lot of damage just frightened people because we aren't used to them!! people that are used to tornadoes would probably laugh at us for calling them tornadoes.
