My co-worker Dan had his Kidney transplant Tuesday, his AMAZING wife Donna gave him one of hers. I just got a call saying Donnna is coming home today only 2 days after giving her husband the gift of life. Dan should come home Friday he needs 5 IVIG treatments b-4 they will let him out. He is having a tough time with those but other then that he's great, last night his creatine was down to 2.1

How amazing is that?! I will add Dan & his wife to my prayers.
I have a question - do they have any children? If so, are they old enough to understand what is happening? It must be scary for a child to have 2 parents risking their lives at once. I was wondering how some people handle this.

Please pass on our caring thoughts and prayers for both of them. Hope to see them online some time telling us of their experiences.

Dans creatine is 1.1 today he'll go home in the morning. I thought you'd get a kick out of the fact that the best thing he says is after 2 years of freezing he's finally warm
