Beautiful pictures Del.  In another couple of months you'll be back in the boat fishing for cod.  Where you live is nice year round!

We have a mixed climate.  Cold and snow in the winter. -24 celcius last night and 20 cm of snow forecasted for tomorrow!! yuck.  In the summer temps can get up to +30 celcius.  Don't get much of a spring though.  I want to move somewhere warm too now.  Can I move in with okarol too!!!  :beer1;

Most of the people who settled in Pasadena originally built houses here to get away from their winters in Chicago! Some never left.
Come on over, you'll never need a down jacket, buy a boogie board instead! I do love those photos del! I have never done anything in the snow but ski. Looks so sunny and pretty!

I'm glad you enjoyed a relaxing day.
In the winter nowdays give me a fireplace, a space heater
and maybe even a heating pad to put around my shoulders.
It makes me shiver just to look at snow pictures.

 Del - this reminds me so much of snowshoeing as a child with my brothers and my Dad.  We would go way up a mountain near my grandfather's house and we'd cook our lunch over an open fire.  Sometimes it was just peanut butter and jelly sandwiches toasted.    Occasionally someone would get caught in the brush piles which could be fun and sometimes it was not so fun.  One time I got going back down the mountain and my feet were going so fast I couldn't stop.  I actually ended up throwing myself sideways to a snowbank to stop.  I was a kid - what did I know about stopping on snowshoes?

thanks for the posting the pictures and bringing up a memory of my Dad.

Awesome pictures Del!  After it snows, I like to walk in my backyard and admire how it looks in the woods.  I get back to reality when I have to drive in it or when the snow turns black from the cars.

I agree, it's never to cold to grill, we grill all year round, through snowstorms even!

The snow fell on us as we walked to the Megabus stop on Saturday morning in a half an inch of snow on the way to Chicago.  It was gorgeous.

Not as relaxing here today.  We had a blizzard yesterday and last night.  Snow up to your butt in places. I will take some pics later on today.  Sunny today.  I'm a teacher wasn't any school yesterday and none this morning. Not sure yet about this afternoon. Eventhough its not snowing ow there is loads of snow to get cleaned up. Hubby is out now using the snow blower.
