My older brother and me (I'm on the right)

« on: January 27, 2008, 07:02:26 PM »

Hey everybody,

I have put together a team - Team Rimbey that will participating in an upcoming 3 mile walk to support the National Kidney Foundation.  I'm sure most if not all are familiar with this organization.  This organization provides so much for people with kidney disease.

National Kidney Foundation:
The National Kidney Foundation mission is to prevent kidney and urinary tract disease, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplant. Our efforts to prevent, treat and cure kidney and urinary tract disease bring help and hope through education, health promotion, transplantation and organ donor awareness, disease prevention and medical research.

Please take a moment to think about giving or give any amount of money to the National Kidney Foundation, it would truly be appreciated and help continue affords to get rid of these diseases!!

Thanks for your support,

A worthwhile cause if anyone has the ability to donate. I can't right now but I definitely would if I could.

Visit the national website, if you haven't. www.kidney.org
It is a very good organization for people with kidney disease and those who work with them.  Our local Michigan office www.nkfm.org  has a strong consumer based focus, and started some support and educational programs that have gone national.

Best wishes,
