At one of the lowest points during the last three weeks, an IHD angel showed up at the hospital to see me and Marvin.  That angel was Paris.  Even though I didn't get to see her, she left a card (signed "With our love and support -- your IHD family") and she brought us a Valentine bucket of "goodies."  This meant so much to both of us.

In the "goodie bucket," Paris put some snacks (Marvin's two most favorite snacks in the world -- LifeSavers and RitzMix -- and my all-time favorite, Hershey's kisses).  Who told her these were our favorites?  How did she know?  Paris also included lotion for those dry legs and arms that Marvin has started to have and ChapStick (VERY much needed!!).

When we read the card and the note Paris left, Marvin's room seemed to fill with love and hugs from all of you -- from all over the world.  It was a wonderful, wonderful feeling, and it did so much to lift our spirits.

Thank you, Paris!  How did you know that Friday was the day when we needed that little boost the most?  You are truly an angel   :angel; .

Bless you Paris, for your kind action and for including all of us,  particularly those of us around the world who though far away are with you all in spirit.  Hope Marvin continues to improve and the IV issues can be sorted soon.
Love to all xxx

We are family.  The kind that really support each other and understand what we are going through.  Not the kind that run and hide when someone needs you; this family sticks together and feels the pain and needs of each other.   I can't do much for people anymore but driving to see family in the hospital--that I can do.

Petey, the strength and love you and Marvin share has touched so many of us. We all love your attitude and perseverance.   :grouphug; :grouphug;

Thank you dear friends, for your kind words.  I love all of you and am grateful everyday for this wonderful group that I can call family. :cuddle;

Paris - I meant to send you this message the other day when I read you had dropped off a goody bag for Marvin.  Thank you so much for stopping in and doing that truly wonderful thing.

Big Angel Hugs to you

What a kind, thoughtful thing to do!
Paris is a very special person and I hope to meet her someday when she comes to Ohio.
Praying Marvin is home soon and well on his way to recovery.
