Been type 1 diabetic for 26yrs..I have pd catheter on left side (although not working arghh) My pump is on right side.
FOr those of you who are on both...how do you change locations?? I hate having to tape over an area where it just was ..I feel like it is not breathing.. :bunny:

I wasn't on pd, but had a pump. Sometimes I couldn't rotate to the other side of the abdomen, so I put it on the side of my glutes (butt) till I could rotate again. Not sure if you have the same problems, but I use to inject insulin a lot into my legs and arms and I could not use those to place my insulin pump catheter there. You might be able to, but consult your doctor, diabetes educator, and check manufacture reccommended locations (usually included with the pump).

Hope someone answers or you get some help from medical authority.
