After running errands with my family this morning, and me not being in the best of moods, we got home and there was this package sticking out of our mailbox. So big that the mailbox would not close. Wattle had sent me and my son an assortment of gifts from Australia! (A combination of thank you for Secret Santa and congrats on the transplant.)

My son loved the Fruit Tingles, even though he was squealing the entire time he was eating them! For those who have never had them, they're like a combination of SweetTarts and the tingly stuff from Zots. Really cool!

The hat is too funny, since my husband has one of the same style that I always laugh at him for wearing, because he looks like such an old man when he wears it...now I have one to match (truthfully, I was just jealous of his, anyway ;)).

Thank you, Wattle, we love it all, and it certainly improved my mood 100%.

:cuddle;  You are very welcome Katie!

I am glad the surprise brightened your day. Bucket hats are a little daggy but we don't want you getting sunburnt down in Florida  :P  I hope you have a great trip away. Tell your son I will send more Fruit Tingles next time   ;D

Katie you look great in the hat!

:ausflag;    Bucket style hats are very common here. All Primary school children have them as a compulsory part of the school uniform. They have to be worn from October through to April (over our hottest months) when outdoors. We have very high skin cancer statistics, so all schools have strict sun smart policies. Everyone just gets use to wearing a hat in the sun.   :)

In the picture, we're actually sitting at the northwest end of St. George Island. Behind us is what they call "The Cut" where the shrimp and fishing boats from the Gulf of Mexico get into the patch of water between SGI and the panhandle of Florida. Sorry, I don't know the name of the island behind us.
