Yep.  Hopefully the trails will be groomed by next week!!!  Have to take a few short trips first until we get used to skidoing again.  Hard on the back and the legs when you aren't used to it!!!  We will probably go somewhere anyway tomorrow!!  Hubby made a trailer to put the skidoo on so we don't even have to work yo put it in the back of the truck.  There's a tailgate on the trailer that folds down to make a ramp so you can just drive it right on the trailor and back it off.  He is waiting for a new skidoo suit.  had to return the one he bought.  getting it exchanged for an XL.  L was a little too short in the crotch (ouch).  They had to order one in so it will probably be here by next week.  He has to wear his old one until then!!!

Boxman and Del, the snow photos are beautiful. I love all the trees bare and covered in snow.

From your extreme cold to our extreme heat... It's going to be 41C (107.6F) here today. Ahhhh!!

A very hot New Years Eve.   :)   :ausflag;

I use to love the snow, but now that I am the one that has to shovel it... Well, you know. We don't get much here because we are surrounded by water. I hope this winter is snow free but I do love seeing all the pictures.

Hey del, the picture shows that your sled is an Arctic Cat not a Ski Doo. Are you just generalizing...Boxman

Just generalizing.  Any snowmobile here is called a skidoo.  Then you ask what kind of skidoo to get the brand name!!!  We are a bit strange like that here in Newfoundland. When we say we had fish for supper we mean we had cod fish. If it was any other kind like salmon, halibut, etc we would have said the name of the fish.

By the looks of that snow thrower the snow is very dry and powdery It is blowing it pretty good. I hate it when we get the heavy wet stuff its like pushing around cement. Have fun...Boxman

Rob showing off his pot of gold!

« Reply #119 on: January 02, 2008, 05:23:13 AM »

Ugh, I am so sick of snow.  Our 2 feet of snow was almost gone, due to a nice rain storm last week, yet this week we already had 2 back to back storms.  The snow that Michigan received yesterday is due here today.  Joy.  My town cancels school at the sight of a snowflake, I was desperately praying for school today after Christmas break (prayers answered!).  I really hope there is school tomorrow.  Working from home with a bored (and punished) 8 year old boy is not fun!

I hear ya! I am home everyday, for the last 4 years, and I have a 6 and 5 yr old... I love when I get to spend all day with them, but I also love my time to relax during the day and not hear the constant arguing between the 2 little ones..  :lol; Mine go back to school tomorrow, the 3rd, which even though it's onlyy 2 days of school before the weekend... it's going to be a quiet 2 days! :)
