I called her just to keep her up-to-date with my appts in January, as I'm waiting to have my tooth pulled before completing my evaluation.  Once we got that out of the way she said I could have my brother call her ASAP to schedule his testing!  I was shocked!  I don't know why, I just thought it would be a long and drawn out obstacle.

She said that when he calls her she will conduct a phone interview.  After that she'll schedule him for blood draw/test.  If his blood is a match then she'll schedule him for an overnight hospital stay for the remainder of his testing.  The results should be in about a week later and then he'll know.  She said that if I'm cleared by the end of Jan or beginning of Feb, and my brother is a match, I could be transplanted as early as March!  My birthday!   However, she said they will schedule the transplant at the donor's convenience, being that I'm not in an emergency situation.  Sounds good to me!

My stomach hurts...
