I have the disc to upgrade to Vista, I paid for it when I recieved my new computer a year ago. I'm happy with my XP, I've heard of complications with Vista running some of the programs I use daily so I've been worried about doing the upgrade and just have not done it.
I have 2 gigs of RAM so I know my machine could handle Vista but if it ain't broke why fix it right? You need a minimum of 1 gig of RAM just to use Vista.

So far I'm right with ya!
We had to go purchase a new
printer/fax
today because Vista isn't compatable with Canon! WTH?
? This is getting expensive!
Then, I was doing a spell check on an email and it said "
This language is no longer available in spell check".
huh? English? I had to jump through 3-4 hoops just to get it to spell check
ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's going on Mr. Gates?
Did he have anything to do with this?

I like Vista! I have no Problems with it. I must be Lucky.
I am Quad Booting on my PC at the Moment. It is an ASUS Laptop
- XP
- Vista
- Leopard
- Ubuntu (Linux)
I must say once getting use to VISTA I like that the best. Then comes Linux, then Leopard and then XP
It seems that VIsta is so nice on my Eyes and when I work it is more fun, it boots faster then XP believe or not and it seems not to slow down as fast as XP did, it seem I was always try to clean xp from all kinds of things.
I did have Driver Problems first but thats not really Vista fault, its the hardware manufactures.

The definition of the word Vista.....
Vis·ta (vst)
An unincorporated community of southern California north of San Diego. It is a resort and agricultural area. Population: 91,500.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vis·ta (vst)
n.
1.
a. A distant view or prospect, especially one seen through an opening, as between rows of buildings or trees.
b. An avenue or other passage affording such a view.
2. An awareness of a range of time, events, or subjects; a broad mental view: "the deep and sweeping vistas these pioneering critics opened up" Arthur C. Danto.
You have time to go look at the Vista's while your computer is being fixed.
