I was wandering through the board today and I can see how everyone gets along and does things for other people.  We also have answers for the most interesting and intricate questions.  It amazes me when answers that I do not have, pop up a few minutes after someone posts a questions.  My hat is off to all here.  Thanks for a great 2007 here at IHD.com and for everyone's support. I know without the people here my life would not be as filled with light as it has been this last year.  My hopes, wishes and prayers go to everyone here. I hope 2008 is a year filled with easy lessons for everyone (including me!)

I am putting as much positive energy as I can into 2008... I have a feeling THIS will be the year for my transplant (and also for a better performance from my footy team lol).

So hope I'm right and best wishes to everyone on IHD for the new year.. I hope the trend from this year of lots of IHD transplants continues into 2008 with even more and the best of health and happiness for everyone!

Thank you Kit for your  reflections and thoughts, you put it so well.

I wish for everyone a happy, and safe, New Year in 2008.  May it be filled with new friends
as well as old friends, who become our famiily here on iHD.

So many times I will come on just to read the postings, to check up on the latest updates,
then get back to work (oops!!!).  I have a hard time staying away from this group
sometimes.......

I only joined in late 2007, but already have felt the warmth of the welcome and how willing everyone is to help.  Those who can't answer questions are always ready to offer support which is very much appreciated. I'm not a patient, just a carer for my Dad so I only know a part of what life is like for all of you.  If I could have one wish it would be successful transplants for all.

Bless you all for your advice and support and lots of love and best wishes for a healthy and happy 2008. :bestwishes;

This past year is the happiest one we've had in our family for a long time. You never know how long a transplant will last, or for that matter, anyone's health - so I am going to cherish each and every moment with friends and family. God bless Patrice for her kidney donation to Jenna and bless and keep safe all the living donors in the world! And please guide and comfort kidney patients, too!

Well, 2007 is almost over. It has been quite a year. Losing our sister, my job, no transplant---but life is still good. I did go to Vegas and meet some of my IHD family.  Truly one of the best things I did for myself this year.

Now, bring on 2008. So many members have received transplants this year; I can hardly wait to see who is next.  RichardMel, I think it is going to be your turn!

My suitcase will be ready when the decision is made where the next IHD meet is. I don't care where, I need to be there.
Thank you all for being such a wonderful support system.  I wish you all a good year full of happiness, free of pain, with loving family to surround you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my friends at IHD! :cuddle;

Happy New Year's everyone. I hope everyone has a better year in 2008, than the year before. I hope everyone who got a transplant in 2007 or before it, continue to do well and move forward. I hope everyone who is waiting for a transplant, get's the call this year, and this year's transplant list is longer than the last years. I wish everyone an easier year health wise and not alot of problems.

Love you all.  :grouphug;

My Wish for You in 2008

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts.
May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $200 bills.
May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires,
may happiness slap you across the face
and may your tears be that of joy.
May the problems you had forget your home address!
In simple words ............

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!
