HILTON SAVED LITTLE PERFORMERS LIFE AFTER DRINKING COLLAPSE

2007-12-14 17:54:37
PR-inside.com

LATEST: The little performer PARIS HILTON nursed at a comedy show on Saturday (8Dec07) claims she saved his life, after he suffered kidney failure following a drinking binge.
Hilton rushed to the aid of Robin Sherwood after he blacked out during a performance in Miami, Florida.
Sherwood now reveals he collapsed because he had been on a three-day drinking binge with Jackass star Wee-man, and skipped dialysis sessions.
He says, "Wee-man took me out partying for three days straight and I forgot to do my dialysis, so I kind of blacked out.
"I had kidney failure a long time ago and got a transplant, but a few years ago that failed too, so now I have to do dialysis every other day."

Paris Comforts Injured Oompa-Loompa Performer

MONDAY DECEMBER 10, 2007 05:30 PM EST

By Jeffrey Slonim and Linda Marx

Paris Hilton was at the center of a bizarre nightclub incident when she comforted an entertainer in an Oompa-Loompa costume injured when the crowd rushed the stage.

The heiress was among those at Cameo nightclub in Miami early Saturday morning at an event sponsored by Ariva smokeless tobacco, featuring a performance of Jeff Beacher's Madhouse with three Oompa-Loompa characters in orange makeup and green hair.

Suddenly, people rushed the stage, injuring Oompa-Loompa performer Robin Sherwood, whose leg was badly cut. Hilton, coincidentally, is friends with Sherwood and had visited him earlier in the day during rehearsals.

Sherwood is in dire need a kidney transplant and Hilton, her sister Nicky Hilton and her boyfriend David Katzenberg have supported a foundation to facilitate the operation.

"I was with Paris," says lawyer Mike Heller of Talent Resources, who booked the event. "Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was okay. She was very concerned with his health. She didn't leave until she knew that he was okay."

A Cameo source adds: "Yes, Paris Hilton stayed with him until an ambulance came to take care of him. ... Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians."

Sherwood received stitches at the hospital and was released.

 :rant; I am so tired of hearing of Paris Hilton Brittany Spears Nicole Richie Kim Kardashian and Lindsy Lohan and any other ungrateful "celebrity" out there.  Face it, had that not Paris, this would not have been so publicly advertised.  :rant;

Hmm, he's on dialysis, and missed his treatments by getting piss drunk for three nights. It's a wonder the little numbnuts is still alive. I feel sorry for the other people at his dialysis centre who have to deal with a little pissant like that. Sorry to all the people who do like them, but I just can't stand today's airheaded "celebrities" and "comedy performers". I guess I'm just old-fashioned even though I'm only 25. When the show "Extra" comes on, I can't change the channel fast enough.

The part I can't figure out is in the second part of the sentence:
". . . . an entertainer in an Oompa-Loompa costume injured when the crowd rushed the stage."   ???  WTF??
