Anne, I'm glad the surgery went well and you're not in too much pain. I know what you mean about the hemo permcath, though. I HATE those things (I know, join the club). Anyway, glad to hear you allowed yourself a treat after a rough day. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on your progress.

Well, we tried the permatcath. It would NOT work. So. I had to go to the hospital again and have another one put in, this time, under local anesthesia. OW. That hurts. Man, as of now, I'm not in pain as much as it's discomfort and a lot of spaciness too. I can't type worth a darn right now. I'm with my fiancee, then he will take me to a friend's house tomorrow so she can take care of me. I did get washed up, got that gunk off me.

so far I'm okay on tylenol!!! I do have the percocet, but thought I'd save that for traveling, especially tomorrow when Ran takes me back to Muncie. My friends ganged up on me, and have arranged me life for the next week or so. I am not allowed to be alone in my house with my kittahs. Which is just as well, really. Eating doesn't sound good. Drinking does, though. I had some chicken noodle soup, which goes down well.

AAARRRRGH!!! I was to have seen the surgeon to be cleared so I could use my pd catheter AND go back to work. Nope. He has  emergency surgery and cannot see me til the 15th. I have to continue with hemodialysis AND am NOT allowed to go back to work without that slip. I HATE this. I HATE it.  I HATE hemodialysis. I feel horrible, I feel sick, this stupid catheter is so uncomfortable and I cannot get comfortable lying down OR sitting up.  I can't eat, I don't want to, I want my life back!!!!

Okay. My temper tantrum is over.  :rant;

I'm sorry! I know how you feel. I had to reschedule my appointment with my nephro the other day and now they can't see me until mid January! I hope things improve for you soon.  :cuddle;

It's Saturday morning and I haven't gone to sleep yet. I'm so wired and so sore at the same time. I DO get to go back to work,yay! However, I have to continue hemodialysis for another week til my surgeon sees me next week. Bummer.

I had a horrible time tonight. I cramped extensively for over an hour, from my feet to my knees, then my tube started hurting (weird, I know), then my hands. Man, that was miserable.  I've cramped before, but NEVER like this. I was crying, and hyperventilating, it hurt so much.

Now I can't sleep. I'm tired, but I just can't go to sleep. I hate this.

MyssAnne, i have been keeping a bottle of Gatorade by my bed (for them damn cramps that only seem to come when i am in the deepest sleep)  >:(   But if and when i get them i just take a big swig of Gatorade, give it a minute and it goes away, just a suggestion, hope it helps  :thumbup;
