Thankyou everyone for your kind words , i cant tell you how much it means to me. Spent another tearful day , i expect it will take some time to heal , i had him for so long. I cant bring myself to put his dishes away just yet and even said goodnight to him last night , like i always do. You people on here are so amazing , i wish we could all be 'real' friends , so to speak. You all have your own troubles and yet take time to comfort me ..thankyou to each and everyone of you ..

Kickstart, we are real friends. We may never see each other in person, but I do care for you, and am saddened at your loss of your Otto.
All of us here have so much in common, we need each other for support, insight, honesty, and sometimes, just to be there to listen to us.
Your troubles and grief is just as important as someone else's, it hurts just as much, and that hurts us, because we care for and about you.

Going through life tied to a chair!

Kickstart, Otto is running through the fields of gold.  It is so hard to have to let them go, but you would rescue him all over again because the times of JOY that he brought you will be never ending.

You were a good Mamma to him and you will be sad for a long time, but know that we are here for you.  Please post his picture here for us to remember him.

They say the good die young. With animals that is the truth.  My heart goes out to you over your loss.

OMG!  I'm so sorry!  My dogs are my babies, as well.  You're doing the right thing.  He doesn't need to suffer.   :'(  You are a loving parent and friend.

And there is a heaven.  Especially for dogs!   :)

Kickstart, I am so sorry about Otto.  All here who have lost a pet know what your going through.

I look for words to ease your pain & find none. I want you to know how much we care & feel your grief & wish we could put our arms around you & hold you, but we can't so we offer comfort with our words & pray they help.

Jane
