i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Keefer, I am like you-I don't get my hopes up. I will think good thoughts on the 27th and pray that this is the "match". You deserve it!

Yeah, one day at a time... I've taken that to the extreme...my best friends are each getting a day-at-a-time calendar, just as a reminder that if this can happen to me, it can happen to them, so enjoy life while you can (of course, one of the calendars is the Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar, so that will make it easier to enjoy each day!!)
Good luck Keefer...
