Hi just a quick HELLO . To let Karol know I'm OK. Been through a lot past year , will post in near future but lets just say i'm missing some body parts ,like a bladder and some tubing. Hope everybody is feeling as well as possible.

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

Glad to see your name here again.  Looking forward to you getting back in our groove.  As for body parts, I have found out that I could live with lots of them out after appendectomy, hysterectomy, mastectomy, cholicystectomy, oophorectomy.  And I am not kidding!

Glad to see you back.

I reread your old posts just to refresh my memory as to who you are.  Your reply to the woman whose husband was a doc, and on dialysis, was priceless!  I enjoyed it immensely the first time I read it and it was well worth reading again.

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.
