Well you all know my situation from earlier posts . Its now nearly a month since i have been out of the house. So today i rang the housing up to see what was going on with my transfer request to be told ..we havent got your NI number, i said 'pardon' The woman then told me that they needed my NI number, so i said but if i hadnt rung you today i wouldnt have known this , besides im already a tennant (so have had all checks done before) , you have my completed application and TWO doctors letters. So ok i will get my NI number to you as soon as i can . So how is my application going then ? Err your not even in the system yet ..oh thats just great , so i have wasted an entire 4 weeks now of hoping to hear something and if i hadnt rung today , i would have still been waiting. I am so dam mad !

Remember they don't give a rip about anyone but themselves. You are your best and own advocate. Keep on them, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Kickstart, You need to get out of the house before you go stir crazy. Get a friend or someone to house sit for a couple hours for you to get some fresh air.

I agree with Sluff. Try to get someone to "house sit" for even just an hour and go outside!

Hi Kickstart, That is disgraceful, I suggest you get on to your MP, your local paper and your local radio station - you will be able to find all those details on line if you don't know them. Kick up hell, it's an absolute disgrace and makes me ashamed of what the UK has become. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.
