It's been called one of the greatest nature videos of all time -- all caught on tape ... by accident. A pride of lions attacks a young buffalo. While working to take down their prey, a crocodile attempts to wrestle the kill away from the lions -- a tug of war ensues. And just when that ends, the herd of buffalo return to rescue their own. Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? We wouldn't have believed it either, but here it is.

It's graphic - lions attack - so be warned - but it has a happy ending (I had to let it load and then fast forward through the tug-of war, I am a wimp, I know) but it's an incredible film.

Thanks Karol, now i have visions of that poor innocent creature being eaten by another animal, (just the thought of it happening upsets me)  i get so depressed when i think of any animal getting hurt in any way, and i know it is nature but i just hate it.  :thumbdown;

 :boxing;  Talk about Darwin's theory.  How the hell the baby water buffalo still survived after being hotly contested by the predators.

united and conquer for those water buffalo.

Wow it was a miracle the young buff was still alive. They seemed to have their prey under control after the crocodaile attack and usually lyons will bite at the throat of the animal and kill it in seconds. Fascinating film.
