Update for 04/03/06:  Katherine had the angiogram today and her heart is fine.  No blockages or anything wrong at all. Thank you for your messages. I'll pass them on to her.  I'll update this topic when I have news and I'll put the date in the subject line.

Original Message on 04/02/06:

Hi all,

I hope I'm doing this right and properly.  I'm Katherine's (Kitkatz's) older sister, Christy.  She asked me to start a new topic to let you have an update on her health.

Katherine went to the hospital ER on Wednesday night after dialysis with chest pains.  She had the chest pains for most of the day.  She was admitted to the hospital early Thursday morning.

She was supposed to have an angiogram on Friday but something else came up and they put it off to Monday. So we hope it is really going through.  If there is something wrong then they will do the next procedure immediately.

Her spirits are up.  Not much sleep and rest in the hospital.

Please keep her in your thoughts.  I'll pass on any messages that you post here or to her email account.

If you want to contact me, my email address is creakinator@yahoo.com.  Just put "Ihatedialysis" in the subject line and I'll know it's from this group.

Christy K.

Wow, that is tough.  She has become a very important member of this group.  Please assure her of our prayers and concerned thoughts.  Tell her to hurry up and get herself back here.

I've had one of those angiograms and it is no fun.  I'm glad she has family around to help her through this.  Give Kitkatz my best and tell her not to take any "crap" off the help!  8)

Okay Ya'all, I am back home from the hospital!  Thank God!  I will get you all an update when I feel more up to staying on the computer.  Just because nothing was found out to be wrong, does not mean it does not still ache! LOL  It was an interesting six days.

Rest and relax! Hah! The doc would not give me Thursday and Friday off. She says she could not find a reason to give me two days off of work, so off I went to work on Thursday feeling crappy.(I am out of sick leave, for those of you who think I am nuts.  I probably am!) On a scale of good to crappy I felt more on the crappy side.  People who knew I had been out were surprised to see me.  I made it through Thursday and Friday of work.  It's Saturday now, I am sore and cranky, and feeling like crying all over people.  I will rant about hospital stays later when I can.  I  have to go to Kaiser today and do bloodwork with the vampires.

Thank you for your love and prayers.  It is felt.
