I'm from Illinois, and I am really impressed with Barack Obama.  I have volunteered for his senate campaign and I am planning to help him in his bid for the white house.  Does anyone else think that he can win in 2008?

Honestly I think it's a long shot. He is too honest. If you know what I mean.

Sorry!  I'm a Republican.  I think if you guys want a run for your money you need to have Hillary run.  I kind of hope she gets it so you guys get what you deserve.

i am the least political person i know. i think there should be a line on all ballots for "none of the above" in other words keep trying until you get it right and i'm not sure they have it right yet. i generally classify politicians, lawyers and bad boyfriends lower than pond scum. somewhere in the vicinity of murder, mayhem and rollercoasters.

I am also from Illinois and I think Obama is great but sorry to say that he may not get in........I will say this that I am from the same county as Hilary and she has got a very nasty attitude so I certainly don't want her in and most people in this region cannot stand her......if Obama does not get in, I hope it is a republican that gets in the White House.....I even heard from many people here locally who normally always vote Democrat that they will most like vote a Republican into the White House.....I do hope that Obama makes it though since he has done a great job in this state......
