Is anyone doing something special?

I bought hubby Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima   for his DVD collection. I already gave it to him. One of the girls sent him a handmade card.

I'm getting a ME day.... I dont know what that means yet, but I think it means I get to relax and not watch the kids for a day.. Thats pretty cool to me! =)

Oh, also I designed it so I don't have dialysis on that day too, so I might actually get to totally relax all day.. I'm really lookin forward to it.

i will be spending fathers day with my parents. My dad likes to have a barbecue. I don't know if my other Sib's will show or not. My mother has said she want to cook breakfast. That is something my father usually does. I become very depressed on fathers day since i haven't seen my kids in a long time. So i usually try and make the day special for dad.

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Was about to ask the same thing, thanks charee.

I think I'll have to be doing something special for my dad (my donor) this September, that's for sure. I don't know what, though.

Rob showing off his pot of gold!

« Reply #13 on: June 16, 2007, 07:51:54 PM »

I don't talk to my parents, so won't be doing anything there.  We are going to my in-laws tomorrow and will probably cook-out.  Rob had a great bonding time with his Dad today, they played in a golf tournament.

I got Rob a card from the pooches, it's so cute!  I can't wait until we have children to celebrate these days for real!  ;)

My Dad passed away 10yrs ago. My son is 23 and I love him. My son has never called me to say Happy Father's Day or never came to visit me, he still lives with his mom. Ooops he just moved out 2 wks ago.

Second week of July hopefully my son and I can spend a weekend together.

All of the kids called their Dad on Father's Day.  We had a quiet day watching the world go by at home.
