Hello all,

I joined this site because I work in a transplant center and would like to know more about the patients I am speaking with each day. I have been reading over some posts and my overwhelming impression is that the people on this site are very, very brave. I can't imagine I would have as much courage going through these experiences, but the human spirit is an amazing thing. I hope I can answer any questions you might have that pertain to transplants or transplant centers. Thank you for letting me join and learn from your experiences. It will help me to better understand our patients and what they are going through.

Sending good vibes to you all...  :waving;

Welcome pandabear to our family.

Thanks for the good vibes. It's a great thing for you to want to see what it's like on the other side. It takes a lot of courage to throw yourself to the dogs so to speak. It will only make you a better person to experience that, and to offer advice from your side of the fence is always welcome here at IHD.

I hope you enjoy your IHD experience but beware, it gets addicting :lol;

Welcome to our community!  Our founder Epoman had the foresight to make this site available not only to people suffering from renal failure but for anyone in anyway connected to this challenge.  Thank you for caring enough to join us.   We look forward to hearing more from you.  Feel free to post often and let us know more about you and the work you do on the behalf of patients.  Here is a group hug from all of us. :grouphug;

Welcome to the site and I hope you find time to come and discuss things with us.

Well I definitely feel welcome now!  :thx;

I am the data coordinator for a transplant center, so I handle everything and anything to do with "the list". I also follow up with patients each year post-op to see how they are doing.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
