Update on the Ohio Buckeye
«
on:
June 07, 2007, 10:16:04 AM »
Hello to everyone.....I am writing this in regards to my friend, the Ohio Buckeye. Many of you may know that she had angioplasty of her leg to increase the circulation there and hoping that this will increase the blood flow and allow her heel ulcer to heal and help with better circulation in her foot. The procedure went well although she had to have 2 units of blood. She came home to my house, she was very weak, could hardly walk and unable to do much of anything for herself.
I'm happy to announce that she is eating like a little pig now....
Getting stronger everyday. I've learned a lot about her dialysis, took a class, and am now setting her up nightly. She'll be with me for awhile, at least until she can walk again (the heal ulcer is very painful) and take care of herself. We pray daily for the healing of her right leg.
She has many emails, hopefully I'll figure out how to print them off and take them home to her tonight. She loves hearing from her friends, and I know she'll love reading messages sent to her.
She'll be back online soon!!! She sends all of you best wishes and have a good summer.
Thank you,
a friend known as Justalady
