Me with Baron von Fresenius

« on: May 14, 2007, 11:31:54 AM »

I officially have a start date for NxStage training :clap;. I will start Monday, May 21st, so I only have three more treatments in my current centre. It's been a hard three and a half months, but things are finally coming together, and I will be free from the centre very soon. I'm soooooo excited (well as excited as someone can be for dialysis). Thanks for all your support and tolerating my rants.

That's great!  Please keep us updated through your training and after.  There's probably a number of people on here with NxStage in their future.

You're really going to enjoy the feeling of freedom.  I started NxStage at home last week.   Since starting NxStage, I've been able to eliminate 2 of my 3 blood pressure medications and it looks like I need to stop taking the third bp medication.  It's amazing what a difference 6 treatments per week can do.

I would be interested to know if you can reduce any of your medications in the next few weeks.
