One thing about transplants is the fear of rejection, getting sick and the list goes on. Im sure most of you read about my situation and at the moment I am going pee probably every 40 min. I drink something and I immediately have to go.
Today I noticed 2 things. I woke up extremely swollen. My salt intake is normal because I know too much salt will retain fluid. I had an appointment today and we left around 12 and came back around 4. I only peed at 12 and thought is was odd for 4 hours I didnt have the urge to pee. I came home and drank a full waterbottle about 500ml and still nothing. I want to believe that im starting to be able to hold me pee but can that happen overnight? I hate being so stressed about these small issues.

Get your doc on the phone or get to an ER at a hospital with a kidney transplant program now.   While not necessarily the case, kidney tenderness/pain could be a sign of rejection which, if caught early, can usually be stopped.

I spoke to the doctor about this. He said my body is finally starting to hold more volume. This is a relief because now i dont have to get to a bathroom every 40 min

Same thing here.  I was told it was the bladder stretching back to its normal size.   When I came home form the xplant short term instructions were to drink enough to pee at least once per hour.
