I've been on dialysis for nearly 4 years, here in Rochester, NY. I also work, but at age 57, I'm looking towards a transplant and retirement.

So glad to have you here!  I used to live in Hudson Valley and NYC, and though I've moved away, I feel like part of me will always be a New Yorker!

Hello Alexsis and welcome to IHD,
I wish you good luck on the transplant-waiting-list. Mind you, a transplant can be a little stressy at first until your body has settled in with the new kidney-addition and I wish you the best of luck...   :grouphug;
Best wishes from Kristina.
