Hello everyone.  It's been a long time since I've posted about my son - 2009 I think.

A lot has happened in that time.  My son, Ian's transplanted kidney lasted 6 years then failed due to Tacrolimus poisoning that wasn't picked up early enough so he was back on dialysis again.  Couldn't get peritoneal dialysis because of adhesions caused by an appendectomy so has been on haemo for the past 4 years - until last week when he got "the call" but I have questions about that which I'll put on the transplant forum - I know I'll get answers from you lovely people :D

I lost my husband in 2011.  He had another heart attack which left him with only 1/3rd of his heart working and had to have a CRTD device fitted which helped a lot but he'd only been home for 3 weeks when he passed away with something unrelated to his heart.  Anyway, life goes on but now there's only Ian and myself plus our cats, dog and pet snakes.

Hoping everyone is keeping well and dialysis/transplants are working for everyone.
