OK, so my fiance is going to be presented to the board Friday... A
However she just got a call from her gyno that stated her pap smear came back irregular and she has to have a biopsy done for cervical cancer. Obviously the Dr is going to give this info to the transplant center, is this going to cause her to be denied or delayed? I am soooo freaking close, 3 days away from setting a date... Let me know what you think, I tried to have her call her coordinator but she said the Dr is going to relay the info to them and the coordinator will be calling her anyways. I'm so nervous

Calm down your potential donor needs your support right now you are facing a delay in a potential transplant she is facing potentially a life threatening diagnosis.  Plus the thought that your transplant is on hold.. stop worrying and be extra supportive to your fiancé.

Hi Robert, like I said in the text message...you will have to wait it out. I think that the doctor is being precautionary due to the pap smear result. Wait until the results from that come back....as worrying can't  change anything (except to get you stressed) :)

I didn't mean to sound insensitive, I love her very very much...  The chances of hpv actually turning into cancer is very rare and takes usually decades to transform to cervical cancer...  Assuming that there will b a delay until she can get the biopsy to show no cancerous cells

I understand...what you are going through is really stressful. Take a few deep breaths....it will be ok!
