I saw the movie a week ago. First movei I have been to in ages, since Ice Age 2 came out.  I was surprised they still had movie          screens! I thought the film went a long way for its message.  I liked the parts of his life where he says "This part of my life is running."  It was a good story and I LOVE Will Smith.

Yeah, that was the first time I've been to a movie
in about 20 years.  Wanted to see We Are Marshall but was afraid
it would be too depressing.  But parts of this movie were also sad.
he certainly did spend a lot of time running, that's for sure.

I saw the movie about a week ago also and again was the first movie I'd seen in a real theater in months.  I thought it was very good.  Did you know the little boy was played by Will Smith's son?  Cute little guy.  I didn't want it to end.  I wanted to see him get his first apartment and then house and I wanted to see the little boy get his first bike.

In real life the Father makes it and probably the son will make it because they both had to work for what the have.  Then after that the kids are spoiled and you hit rock bottom and start over.

I spent my Easter glued to the T.V. watching The Pursuit of Happyness (finally)  and i give it  :thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup; :thumbup; multiply that by 10.  I cried through the whole move practically,  if you have not seen this movie, do yourself a favor and watch it, the determination in this man, Chris Gardner, and his 'bouts of bad luck is just mind boggling.  I enjoyed every second of this movie...  :thumbup;
