Life is short. Spend time with people you love.
Make time to meet-up with another IHD member if you can. You won't regret it.  :2thumbsup;

He always made me wish we had one here. I miss Him and Goofy-I hear her song on my I-pod every now and again, and the lady behind me wears a purple boa at work- they are not forgotten.  ;)

After reading this thread, I always wanted to go to Tito's Tacos in honor of Epoman and the IHD family.  I was fortunate enough to be in the area for a trip and was able to go.  It felt like hallowed ground, if you'll pardon the expression, and let me reflect on my great fortune of finding this incredible website, full of incredible people - both past and present.

I am pictured here with my lunch box containing a Tito's Taco, guacamole, salsa and chips.  While the taco was indeed incredible (I took a small break from my general veganism and allowed myself a bite of the shredded beef), it paled in comparison to being there and thinking about Epoman, Goofynina and the IHD family.

Kim, what a nice gesture. :cuddle;  Great photo!  A small detour from your usual veganism is a nice way to honor the people that made/make this website possible.  Thank you so much for posting this. :2thumbsup;

For some reason the image I had of Epoman was 6 foot 9 and he would look like Hercules.  His creation this web site is a amazing legacy to leave behind.  I amazed how important this site is.  And if I am ever fortunate to meet the man in the after life I will profusely thank the man since this site has made my life better.

I thank God for finding this site IHD.
It has given us an encouragement to continue to enjoy life even while on dialysis.
The success stories of some members of IHD family has given us an inspiration.

I am very grateful to have "stumbled" across IHD during the years of my end-stage-fight to halt - for as long as possible - my "unavoidable" kidney-failure ...
I am also very grateful that I had a chance to "meet" - on IHD - wonderful people who understood what I was going through
and they have kindly assisted and encouraged me all along the way...
I am also very grateful to Mr. "Epoman" to have had the wonderful idea of setting up IHD for ESRF-people
where they can share and exchange their experiences and ideas about how to survive despite ESRF etc.
 ... When I first came across IHD, I was instantly reminded of the poem by Dylan Thomas: ...Do not go gentle into that good night ...
Many thanks from Kristina.  :grouphug;
