Just wanted to share this story I heard on the news last night.  UCSF has suspended their living kidney donor transplant program for a month because a donor died in November.  Nothing was stated about how or why the donor died. I guess they are erring on the side of caution. The deceased donor program is still happening.  Here is a link to the story.

Thanks Lis, that was very interesting. I wonder how it will pan out for future donors and recipients. Time will tell.
