Hello. My first post here. I first got diagnosed with ESRD in 1999. I recieved my first transplant in September 2001. The transplant lasted until December of 2005. Since then I have been on Hemodialysis  three days a week, about 3.5 hours at a time. I use a fistula, my second. I have also tried PD in the past. I currently have zero kidney function. I am trying to get back on the transplant list here in missouri.

Hello MixPlix, Welcome to ihatedialysis.com, glad to have you with us.  Sorry to hear about your transplant failing and hopefully you will be put on the list soon.  You said you had tried PD in the past?  Can you please go to our Home Dialysis section and share your experiences with PD, i am sure the information you share will help others on PD or thinking about going to PD.  Please also make yourself at home, feel free to ask questions, post comments and/or concerns of your own.  We are not only an awesome website, we are an even more awesome support group.  We have several members in the Missouri area also.  Look forward to hearing more from you...  :2thumbsup;

Hi Mixplix
Welcome to the IHD Family!
Wow, you've had a lot of experience in this.
PD, hemo, transplant. You've been thru it all.
You will probably have a lot of helpful info for us
and hopefully we'll be a great support for you.
