I was eating breakfast, and sipping my coffee, with my 10 year old granddaughter
and I asked her: "What day is tomorrow"?
  She said: "It's Presidents Day!"
  She is a smart kid.
I asked: "What does Presidents Day mean?"
She said: "Presidents Day is when the President steps out of the White House,
and if he sees his shadow, we have 4 more years of bullshit."
You know, it hurts when coffee spurts out your nose.

Be Well

"Wabi-sabi nurtures the authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect."

Don't ever give up hope, expect a miracle, pray as if you were going to die the next moment in time, but live life as if you were going to live forever."

A wise man once said, "Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present."

Husband had ESRD with Type I Diabetes -Insulin Dependent.
I was his care-partner for home hemodialysis using Nxstage December 2013-July 2016.
He went back to doing in-center July 2016.
After more than 150 days of being hospitalized with complications from Diabetes, my beloved husband's heart stopped and he passed away 06-08-21. He was only 63.
