I'm getting scared. I'm very recently post-transplant and I had an infection on Wednesday. They gave me meds for it and I suppose that helped but ever since then my output has gone from 3.5L-3.8L a day down to 2.2L-2.7L a day. Today I've drank 2L and I've just barely output 1L. I'm waiting on the on call doctor to call me back but my mind is racing with thoughts of rejection.

The doctor on call thinks I'm drinking too much and I need to cut down from 3L to 2L to let my kidney catch up with what liquid I'm retaining.

Mm not heard that one before, but I've heard of anti biotics reducing output.
I hope you'll be back to 'normal' soon.

Sending healing vibes, and love, Cas

Doctor on call = doesn't know your case.

Get ahold of your transplant team ASAP!

:cuddle; I hope this is all ironed out with good results soon!

If you're really worried, ask your coordinator if you can go for labs today or tomorrow. You'll get a creatinine result. I think your output sounds ok. It's so easy to get worried so soon after your transplant. Is your appetite still ok? Do you feel swollen? If you're feeling pretty decent overall, I would say get the labwork and try to distract yourself from worrying.
