diagnosed with kidney cancer on 8/27/14 MRI showed mass in right kidney and misshaped left one will be getting both removed on 11/04/14 as left one only has 5% function getting fistula and cath put in on 10/31/14 so I am new to this thanks Jr

Going through life tied to a chair!

Hi jr and welcome to IHD.  My friend had the same as you.  One day you have kidney function the next day you don't but with cancer they have to go.  5 years later she is doing GREAT and cancer free and ready to go on the transplant list.  Usually you have to be cancer free 5 years before you can get a transplant.  You can do this.
