Hi peeps

So I'm on my 3rd week of dialysis and 1st week of training. Wednesday I saw a cartridge being installed and today I was supposed to set up myself and the nxstage wouldn't turn on...  I didn't even get past step 1. Lol needless to say start again on Monday when the replacement arrives.  I did however do the most scary part, I poked myself and it didn't hurt,  I also pulled them out on my own.  I should mention on my 2nd and 5th treatments the needles sliped, because I moved and all kinds of blood went in my arm so I was worried. Anyone else have good beginning stories?

Welcome to Nxstage . You are doing the hard part by now sticking in your own needles. Now that you can do that , the rest is easy. The machine almost runs itself. Any questions on it, just ask.

I  hope so they're some big needles.  Truthfully it's kinda  exciting being able to do on my own....  The little things lol
