Just living life day by day!

« on: August 24, 2009, 05:08:57 AM »

The bones in her head have already closed, so they have to do surgery to correct it. We take her to the neurosurgeon tomorrow to find out all of the details. She just turned 1 aug. 7th 2009. I know she'll be fine but I just cant stand the thought of her having to get her head cut open.

 My kidney's failed a month after I gave birth to my beautiful daughter becaused the doctors mis-diagnosed me when I had gallstones which went into my pancreas causing pancreantitis. Now im just waiting to be put on the transplant list :)

I'm very thankful to have a chance to see my lil girl grow up !!

 :flower;  Any parent I think would hate the thought of their child having to be cut open.  She'll be fine!!  What a cutie!!  :grouphug;

My now 17 yr old GS had the same surgery when he was 3 mos. old. The stories he told when ever he was asked about the scar :rofl; He has a very thick head of hair and the scar hardly shows now. Hold her extra close and your beautiful baby will be just fine :grouphug;

Our friend's son also had this.  It sounded so scary and I was so worried about him.  Ethan did amazingly well. He wore the helmet for a few months.  Now he is 3 and is a healthy, funny, smart little boy.   I will keep your family in my thoughts as you go through this.  It is always scary when it is a child.  She is adorable.  I will look forward to you telling us the surgery is over and she is doing well.   :cuddle;
