Hello,

My name is Cameron and I have been a part of the Chronic Kidney Disease Community for most of my life because my dad has been on dialysis for 14 years. I read through quite a few introductions and I must say that this community is so beautiful and diverse. I am very grateful to be able to connect with others on forums and message boards like this one.

I know first hand that CKD is an insidious disease and not one to be taken lightly. I hope to read stories and share insights and learn more about Your personal struggle. I will try and comment as often as possible and look forward to making a lot of new friends :)

Regards,
Cameron

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband,  He is 4p and started PD October 2013. We have several living donors waiting to be tested for a transplant. Dialysis is a bridge to get us where we need to go.
He had a transplant in November 2019.
