Holiday Planning for Kidney Disease Patients
Do you want to get away, but have concerns about travel due to your dialysis treatments or a recent organ transplant? Join our roundtable discussion about planning a holiday as a kidney disease patient!
Mr. Robert Fraser, Dept. of Social Work, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, will provide valuable information about insurance and more. Kidney disease patients who have enjoyed a dialysis camp in Ontario as well as trips to Cuba and elsewhere will talk about their personal experiences, with open Q&A.
Open to the public, this free event is hosted by the Hamilton Chapter of the PKD Foundation of Canada. Registration is not required. Local street parking (free) and hospital parking (payment required) is available.
