Hello one and All,
I was first diagnosed with PKD some 20 yrs. ago. Kidneys failed three yrs. ago. Started on PD , now on Hemo. I began my nephology journey as a Certified nephology nurse for nearly 15 yrs. ( in center and acute experience, I doubt there's any/many with my qualifications  as both practitioner and patient). Obviously I've "seen both sides now " ( if your my age you know what tune those lyrics are from). I was sent here by a close friend to possibly help . Don't waste my time if your're really not opening up your mind to my suggestions!! I will answer legitimate inquires from my years of education and experience . I AM NOT HERE TO TAKE THE PLACE OF DOCTORS' ORDERS OR ADVICE!!!!!
I don't hate dialysis. I surely don't like it but I'm not going to bite the machine that keeps hoping for a transplant.
