There are some very wrong things in todays society.

I hate to say it............ but bars will turn people away and refuse service if one is over the limit,  its looks like this should start being done in the food service industry when it comes to children.  Adults can be charge for giving drugs or alcohol to a minor and the same should apply to adults when they contribute to the following.  This is totally unacceptable and the parents should be charged with something.

I agree totally with you Big Sky, the kids are not born with this behavior/ habit. I'm not a medical professional but unless there is a medical reason that makes someone get that heavy, you are right the parents are to blame for not teaching right from wrong.

Yes what adults do is one thing but when it comes to children the adults are suppose to look out for them.

I have been looking for the other video but have not found it.  I heard from another person that the little girl is now down to 100 pounds since being admitted to the hospital.  However it was said that she is still unable to walk. :-\

I suppose the muscle tone in her legs are very poor. She will probably need physical therapy for awhile. And then there has to be some phsycological attachment that will follow her around for life.

Did anyone else catch that 400 pounds does not equal 141 kgs?  Anyway, I think that girl must have a growth hormone problem...it's hard to imagine a 7 year old getting that heavy just from eating.

Wow! 250 lbs makes a BIG difference. Did you notice that the mom kept saying that she HASN'T gained any weight since the last time they say Maury?? I don't believe that for a second!

I also agree that the parents are to blame. That poor girl didn't know that was going to happen to her if she ate.
