I had 10 months on PD and it was working well and fitting in to our lifestyle so well that when 'the call' came, I asked my husband did we really want a kidney?!! I'm glad he decided the answer was yes. My small experience with haemo was just 8 weeks post a hernia surgery. I'd like to think that if HD was the only option left, I'd conquer my fears but am not confident.
PD was easy. I felt in control.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
