TOO MANY CONDUCTIVITY FAILURES....

The past 4 saks I have put in the PFlow cabinet have been alarming A43.  Not absolutely sure why.  The first 2 times under same lot numb. it failed.  Then I tried a different bag from another lot, A43 again.  Called Support and he wanted me to clean my waste line of any resistance.  I told him I clean those lines after full sak is used.

Well, I did that, but it still failed.  He said to open tub and push bag around to make it slosh to mix it better. I did that and it passed.

2 questions:

   1. If you are making a new batch, the waste line is not connected while making a batch.  Why then, did that have
       anything to do with A43?

   2. Ive been loading the Sak for over 2yrs and never had this problem. Why now is it doing this?

I have read on one of the Facebook groups that somebody else was having trouble with A43's.  She said that once she started shaking the SAK to mix it a bit before putting it in the tub, she stopped having A43's.  Might be worth a try.

Yea, Cat, Im doing that now and no problems so far.  But what is the correlation between the waste line and making a batch? I asked him that over the phone, and he said to rid of any resistance.  Okay, I get that, but the waste line is connected to nothing when making a batch.  "Me thinks I got a not too bright tech there!" unless someone on here can explain that away, then I will know why!

It just doesnt make sense, does it to you?

I just started Nxstage in September '12. The first 2 weeks, I had no problems. Then I started getting repeated conductivity failures. After trying everything that support suggested, (clamping one line, shaking the bag before inserting it, etc.) they ended up sending me a new control unit. After installing it, same problem. They sent another one and that one has worked fine! In less than a month I was on my 3rd control unit!
