Hello All,
My name is Nee. I joined this forum couples of months ago when I failed to locate the wonderful Dialysis Online with brumley.com. Thats where I posted before, but somehow Dialysis Online was shut down for some reason I still dont know.
My Dad has been on hemo dialysis for 6 years and I stay with him on each session. Honestly, I do not trust the nurses and techs there. Not all are bad but they cannot take care of every single patient, however, some are real lazy or careless.
So I learn on the way and my Dad sometimes experienced bad things on the way too, and I rely on good dialysis forums like the Dialysis Online and this forum here to learn more and exchange information with every one.
I thank this forum and everyone who contribute to it. I appreciate all the info I've received whenever I posted.
Keep up the good work and good luck to us all, to you all, to your loved ones and ours.
Nee

Hello nee, Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. This website is intended to be your home away from home, offering advice when you need it, an occasional laugh and even more importantly an ear to listen to you when you ask questions, or just need to vent. Out of all the positions in any serious illness the caregiver seems to be overlooked the most, but not here at IHD. We have a section just for the caregiver here: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?board=33.0Your dad is so lucky to have you to keep an eye on his healthcare. Welcome to our IHD family. Hi Nee and welcome to our site. Bless your heart for sitting with your father. That is a real commitment. It is hard being the caregiver to a chronically ill patient. Best of luck to both of you. I sure hope you enjoy this site and post often.

Hi Nee, I helped care for my Father for many years on dialysis before I started. It is amazing what you catch some techs are doing. Good luck. Welcome to IHD. Mike

Hello Again,
Thank you all for your support and the warm welcome! I look forward to posting often and hopefully I would be able to share some information with all of you in what I know.
About globaldialysis.com, I did visit, however, I definitely think I give top rank to this ihatedialysis forum. This forum is more friendly, posters are hearty and the volume of information shared is much richer.
Later everyone -- Enjoy your weekend.
Nee
