Hi everybody , please can you tell me if any of your good selfs have pains in both hands at night every night , and sometimes during the day i mean severe pain aswell it started weeks ago in my fistula hand its always cold aswell  . I dont mint the cold hand as such because when i go to the gym and start to sweat and hot i put my fistula hand on my head and it feels cold to the touch haha its brill for that , just the pain makeing me like a zombie i am starting to get clumbsy with lack of sleep . Can anyone tell me if any of yous have a realy bad itch when you get warm i do , to stop the itch i stand outside my back door in slippers and underpants and stay there till i am shaking with the cold after about 2 hours then i go to bedroom and open window wide and the door to create a cold draft of air comming into the bedroom . All the while i put on a 12 inch fan on the number 3 setting and face the fan at me at about a foot away, this itch is realy getting to me i am starting to think this is not worth hanging around for . Its realy driving me mad any help would be most wellcome o and i told the doc about the itch i told her what i was doing to get the itch to stop , by freezing my self and her answer was you have  ( hit the nail on the head )  anyway good bye for now thanks for any reply . Hi dublin!  I have pain in my hands also, and have had it since I started dislysis.  Try using anti-itch lotion on it, I know that helps me.

Thanks Big E i will try it and let yous know how i get on . Great news from the doctor starting on monday i will have to come for dialysis 4 days a week instead of 5 days a week so thats brill . Up till now i tought i was just getting kicked all the time when i was down , cant believe it something has gone right for me at last . I don't usually have pain in my hands but I will get itching all over my body if my phosphorus is too high. Then, I just try to really watch my diet.

Hi CebuShan thanks for the answer i asked all ready they say all my levels are normal , different answers from the more people i ask but as you said with the itch i will ask them to check my phosphorus to see if it is high thanks for info .
