My boyfriend is on home-hemo through Davida. We started at home in April and we have the best nurse. She really goes above and beyond for us making continuing at home possible. I really want to do some sort of Christmas gift. I'd bake for her, but she is a health nut. I'm thinking of getting her some hand sanitizer and lotion from Crab Tree and Evelyn. Anyone else do gifts for nurses or staff? What do you give?

Thanks,
Katie

My neph's nurse has been a godsend for eight years, and if I have an appointment around Christmastime, I always give her a gift.  In the past, I have given her a sort of funky bracelet (I notice the jewelry that people wear), and I also have given items that are supposed to reduce stress, like lavender scented pillow sprays or wraps that can be heated in the microwave.

Maybe you can ask her some veiled questions about what she likes to do in her spare time.  That might give you some clues.  It's fun to suss out what kind of gift would be enjoyed!
